"№12124 - improving the procedure for providing social services - as a whole (255)", - wrote MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak in Telegram.
What is expected
According to its author, MP Tetyana Tsyba, the draft law provides for new approaches to optimizing the provision of social services. Given that the challenges for the social sphere have increased significantly in the context of a full-scale war.
In particular, Tsyba emphasized, the formation of multidisciplinary teams of specialists from various fields and profiles is envisaged. This should create the preconditions for a comprehensive approach to the provision of social services and taking into account the best interests of those who need such services.
It is also planned to introduce the latest technologies in the processes of providing social services. This should help increase their accessibility and regulate certain legislative gaps in the procedure for their provision - eliminating bureaucratic obstacles, added the People's Deputy.
The draft law proposes, in particular:
- to legally regulate the concepts of "case management", "multidisciplinary team" and "social services of national importance";
- provide physical support to people with intellectual, sensory, physical, motor, mental and behavioral disorders;
- clarify the classification of social service providers by ownership;
- determine the mechanism for providing a social service for which there is no state standard;
- regulate the possibility of providing social services remotely;
- determine the cost of social services;
- clarify responsibility for violations of legislation on social services.
