Ukraine to demand explanations from Egypt over new vessel with stolen grain – MFA

Ukraine will approach Egypt regarding the arrival of a vessel carrying stolen grain. Cairo had previously officially promised Kyiv not to accept such Russian shipments.

Ukraine will soon approach Egypt regarding a new case of a vessel arriving with grain that, according to Kyiv, was exported by Russia from occupied territories. This was stated by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi during an online briefing, reports UNN.
According to him, Cairo had previously assured Ukraine that it would not accept such shipments.
"We received assurances both before and at the leadership level that Egypt would not accept such cargoes,"
At the same time, according to the diplomat, one of the vessels has already arrived or is arriving in Egypt.
"We will be asking the Egyptian side what is happening,"
