Ukraine plans to produce anti-tank grenade launchers and mines in cooperation with Germany. By 2025, the capacity of the Ukrainian defense industry will be about $30 billion.

Kyiv has projects to produce anti-tank grenade launchers and anti-tank mines in Ukraine. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the VII Ukrainian-German Economic Forum, UNN reports.

"Our arms production is gaining momentum. The capacity of the Ukrainian defense industry is about $30 billion by 2025. We have the largest number of joint ventures in the defense industry with Germany. We are talking about joint projects for the repair and maintenance of armored vehicles and tanks, the production of modern armored personnel carriers, air defense systems, and missiles for them. We also have projects to produce anti-tank grenade launchers and anti-tank mines in Ukraine. This area has extremely broad prospects," Shmyhal said.

The Prime Minister noted that the Ukrainian defense industry includes 800 enterprises, more than 300,000 employees, production sites, highly qualified specialists, and the ability to produce an extremely wide range of weapons.

"All of this will work for our common security," Shmyhal emphasized, adding that the Ukrainian army, which is already fighting according to NATO standards, is now covering the eastern flank of Europe and will continue to do so in the future.
