Andrii Sybiha discussed drone incidents caused by Russian electronic warfare with Latvia. Ukraine is ready to involve its specialists to protect the Baltic states.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Baiba Braže regarding recent drone incidents in that country. Sybiha reported this on the X social network, UNN reports.
Investigations have proven that this occurred as a result of the deliberate redirection of Ukrainian drones from their targets in Russia by Russian electronic warfare. I confirmed Ukraine's readiness to cooperate with the Baltic states and Finland to prevent such incidents, including the direct participation of our specialists
As a reminder
On May 9, the Latvian armed forces recorded an aerial threat in the border regions. The NATO mission was activated for patrolling, and air defense was strengthened on the eastern border.
