Ukraine received $3.9 billion from the US and expects €4.2 billion from the EU under the Ukraine Facility program. Prime Minister Shmyhal said that the funds will be used for non-military budget expenditures and social obligations.
Ukraine expects to receive the next tranche of 4.2 billion euros under the Ukraine Facility program from the European Union in the near future. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, reports UNN.
Ukraine continues to strengthen its financial stability. Yesterday, the state budget received $3.9 billion in non-refundable aid from the United States. Overall, this year we expect to receive $7.8 billion in budget support from our American allies. The next tranche of EUR 4.2 billion under the Ukraine Facility program from the European Union is expected in the near future
He noted that in 2024, Ukraine will receive 16 billion euros from the EU under this program.
"We are clearly on track to meet all the indicators. We are implementing all the reforms. We are adopting all the necessary changes," Shmyhal added.
According to him, the partners' funds will be used to finance non-military budget expenditures, fulfill the state's social obligations, pay salaries to state employees, and implement economic and humanitarian projects.

Ukraine has received $3.9 billion in grants from the United States through the World Bank, the first tranche of direct budget support from the United States in 2024. The funds will help finance, among other things, public sector salaries and social benefits.
The EU Council has decided on the first disbursement to Ukraine of almost EUR 4.2 billion under the new Ukraine Facility program.
