Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reported contacts with European leaders regarding the violation of the country's airspace by a missile during Russia's attack on Ukraine. The leaders expressed full solidarity and readiness to help.

European leaders are in contact with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk after a violation of Polish airspace during a Russian attack on Ukraine, as Tusk reported on X, writes UNN.

Tusk also reported being "in constant contact with the President of the Republic of Poland and the NATO command."
Head of the National Security Bureau of Poland Bartosz Grodecki stated that "the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, is receiving constant information about the violation of Polish airspace during the night."
"Since early morning, the President has been in contact with Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. The National Security Bureau is in constant contact with the relevant commands of the Polish Armed Forces and the involved services. The duty operational service of the National Security Bureau receives reports, among others, from the Operational Command of the Armed Forces branches and the Government Security Center. We are awaiting precise and detailed information regarding the entire course of the incident. A representative of the National Security Bureau is heading to the scene," the statement said.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile, violating NATO airspace, crossed the Polish border at night during a massive Russian strike on Ukraine. Ukraine informs all partners and international organizations about the consequences of this attack.
Poland was ready to shoot down the missile after it entered the country's territory during the Russian attack on Ukraine, stated Tusk, adding that "everything indicates that we are dealing with a Kh-101 ballistic missile, a Russian one."
The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces (DORSZ) reported that at 3:40 a.m. local time on Thursday, an unidentified object was detected in Polish airspace. An F-16 fighter jet was scrambled for reconnaissance and interception of the object. At 3:46 a.m. local time, the object disappeared, and the likely location of its fall was near the town of Tarnawa-Kolonia in the Lublin Voivodeship.
