Traitor detained in Kyiv region who tried to get a job with the National Police on FSB's orders

The detainee was a resident of the Brovary district, who was remotely recruited by an FSB officer at the end of 2023. The man hoped that the National Police would have more "opportunities" to collect data on personnel and the movement of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a result of a special operation in the Kyiv region, a traitor was detained who, on the instructions of the occupiers, tried to get a job in the National Police. This is reported by UNN with reference to the Security Service of Ukraine.

It is noted that cyber specialists of the Security Service thwarted an attempt by the FSB to "bring its agent into the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
In case of successful enrollment, he was supposed to collect information about law enforcement units, primarily those that were part of the "Offensive Guard" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The SBU officers documented the Russian agent step by step and at the final stage of the special operation detained him in his own home. At that time, he had already applied to join the National Police.
According to the investigation, the detainee was a resident of the Brovary district, who was remotely recruited by an FSB officer at the end of 2023. The SBU has already identified him.
During the search, a cell phone with evidence of his correspondence with the FSB was seized from the detainee.
SBU investigators have served him a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law). The attacker is in custody. He faces life imprisonment

The law enforcement officers explained that man hoped to get more "opportunities" to collect data on the personnel and movement of military equipment of the AFU.
The Rashists needed intelligence information to prepare air attacks on the objects of the Defense Forces and to plan combat operations on the front line.
According to the investigation, in order to make sure that the agent was able to fulfill the mole's task, the FSB gave him a "test" task.
In particular, the occupiers instructed their accomplice to reconnoiter the locations of military airfields and hospitals, as well as defense plants in the Kyiv region. At the same time, he had to collect as much information as possible for the FSB about one of the mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
To do this, the traitor used a local resident from whom he rented an apartment. It was established that her son fought in this brigade and died on the front line.
He came to the attention of the aggressor because of the pro-Kremlin comments he left in the chats of Russian Telegram channels.
To fulfill the enemy's instructions, the traitor traveled around the area, where he recorded the coordinates of the "necessary" objects, and then passed the geolocations to the Russian curator.
For cooperation with the occupiers, the defendant received a monetary "reward" from them on his own bank card.
