Three servicemen and one civilian killed in car-truck collision in Lviv region; SBI investigates accident
An accident occurred in Lviv region, killing three soldiers and a civilian, the State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the circumstances of the accident, the SBI said on Monday, UNN reports.

"The State Bureau of Investigation has opened a criminal investigation into the tragic accident in Lviv region. The collision of a car with a truck killed four people, three of whom were military personnel," the SBI said in a statement.
The tragedy reportedly occurred on December 16 at about 15:00 on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Smozhe, Stryi district, Lviv region. All the victims were reportedly in a car belonging to a military unit.
"According to preliminary data, the soldier driving the car lost control and drove into the oncoming lane, where a truck with a trailer was moving at the time," the SBI said.
The investigation is being conducted into the fact of violation of road safety rules involving military vehicles (Part 2 of Article 415 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). All the circumstances of the tragedy are being established, and expert examinations have been ordered.
