U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during a visit to Yerevan, supported the pro-Western course of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and signed agreements on the development of the TRIPP economic corridor and a strategic partnership between the countries. Rubio reported that, together with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, he had taken "another step" toward the implementation of this route.

In addition, the parties signed agreements on the renewal of the strategic partnership and cooperation in the field of critical minerals.
