The mayor of the russian city of kurchatov reported fighting several dozen kilometers from the kursk nuclear power plant. The IAEA is monitoring the situation, and the russian guard has stepped up security at the facility.
Several tens of kilometers from the city limits of kurchatov, which is a satellite city of the kursk nuclear power plant, fighting continues. This was stated by the mayor of the city, igor korpunkov, reports UNN.

According to him, fighting is taking place a few dozen kilometers from the city's borders. The mayor said that the situation is tense and a state of emergency is in effect.
