The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a mechanism for paying financial assistance to pensioners living in areas of active or possible hostilities. The assistance is intended for those whose pension is less than UAH 3,000.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Social Policy on the implementation of a joint project with the participation of the World Food Program of the United Nations - it concerns additional measures for social support of pensioners living in the territories of active or possible hostilities.
This was announced in Telegram by the permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Taras Melnychuk, reports UNN.

According to Melnychuk, the deputies have determined the mechanism for paying additional financial assistance at the expense of the WFP of the United Nations to recipients of pensions, in particular, from among internally displaced persons living in the territories of active or possible hostilities.
This applies to people whose pension is less than 3,000 hryvnias per month - it also applies to those who have not received additional cash payments from international organizations since March 1, 2023.
These payments are established in accordance with the defined and fixed agreements regarding the implementation of programs (projects) between the Ministry of Social Policy and the relevant international organization (after filling out the form on the information platform "Help" (edopomoga.gov.ua), and / or assistance for living for internally displaced persons in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of 20.03.2022 N 332.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the procedure for paying an allowance of 10% of the salary to civil servants for knowledge of English. It will be received by those who speak the language at a level not lower than B2.
