The enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces nearly 60 times, acting most actively in the Huliaipole direction - General Staff

Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 59 times. The enemy is actively operating in the Huliaipole and Pokrovsk directions, UNN reports, citing the General Staff summary.

Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Korenok, Bachivsk, Atynske, Budky, Sopych, Prohres, and Vilna Sloboda were affected; in the Chernihiv region – Zorya, Berylivka, and Hremyach 

In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, two combat engagements took place; the enemy carried out 49 shellings of settlements and our troops' positions, five of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy launched three assaults on the positions of our units in the areas of Prylypka and Starytsya.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy did not conduct active operations today.

In the Lyman direction, two attempts by the invaders to advance in the area of Yampil are ongoing.

In the Slovyansk direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled two attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of Kryva Luka and Riznykivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders stopped two enemy attacks in the areas of Nykyforivka and Viroliubivka.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out ten attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have attempted 14 times to push our soldiers from their positions in the areas of Rodynske, Udachne, Novopavlivka, Novooleksandrivka, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, and Muravka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy went on the offensive four times in the areas of Sichneve, Yehorivka, Nove Zaporizhzhia, and Zlahoda.

In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled 19 enemy attacks in the areas of Zaliznychne, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Olenokostyantynivka, Yablukove, Svyatopetrivka, and Charivne. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to advance in the area of Shcherbaky.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy did not conduct active operations.

In other directions, there have been no significant changes in the situation at this time. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded, the General Staff concluded.
