Due to a UAV attack, part of Ternopil is without electricity and public transport has stopped. The mayor urged residents to close their windows and stay in shelters until the all-clear signal.

In Ternopil, amid a massive Russian drone attack, Mayor Serhiy Nadal urged residents to close their windows and reported that part of the city is without power, UNN reports.

Around 1:00 PM, Nadal reported the movement of a large number of enemy UAVs toward the region and the city.
"Ternopil region, particularly the city of Ternopil, is in a high-danger zone," added Taras Pastukh, head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration.
Following this, local social media channels reported explosions.
Amid the enemy attack, Nadal urged citizens not to use transport and to stay in shelters.
The Ternopil City Council reported that "due to the attack, it is recommended to temporarily suspend public transport. Drivers will take passengers to the nearest stops."

"Stay in shelters! Take care of your safety and the safety of your loved ones! Do not post photos or videos of attacks or air defense operations on social media!" - Pastukh, head of the Regional Military Administration, also stated.
