A large-scale protest against the results of the parliamentary elections, which the opposition considers to be fraudulent, takes place in the center of Tbilisi. Protesters with the flags of the EU and Georgia demand new elections.

Another protest is taking place in the center of Tbilisi against the results of the parliamentary elections, which all opposition forces that overcame the 5% electoral threshold consider "stolen" by the ruling Georgian Dream party and its founder Bidzina Ivanishvili, UNN reports with reference to the BBC.

Traffic on the central avenue is blocked.

At the call of the opposition, the protesters gathered at Vokzalnaya Square, from where they marched to the parliament building, the traditional and main arena of political protests in Georgia.

The protesters are holding posters "Wake up Georgia" and flags of Europe and Georgia.

"This is the most important day. We demand new elections and we do not accept the stealing of elections by the Georgian Dream, which has already been confirmed," Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of the opposition Unity-National Movement, told reporters on the eve of the rally.

However, both the opposition and Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili do not recognize the results and speak of total fraud and vote theft.
