Sybiha and Irish Minister of State for European Affairs Byrne discussed strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia

The heads of departments discussed Ireland's presidency of the EU and the opening of negotiation clusters. The parties focused on sanctions and a €90 billion loan.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha met with Irish Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence Thomas Byrne. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, writes UNN.

"We discussed Ireland's upcoming EU presidency and the importance of keeping the issue of Ukraine a priority on the EU agenda," Sybiha said.
In particular, the parties focused on strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia, opening negotiation clusters and unblocking a 90 billion euro loan, as well as other key priorities.
"We agreed to continue to coordinate our actions closely," the minister summarized.
