"Mykhailo Romanchuk withdrew from the 1500-meter freestyle qualifying round. The reason for the withdrawal was an illness that hit the Ukrainian yesterday. For the second day, Mykhailo has been suffering from a high fever and general physical weakness," the NOC said.
Thus, the two-time medalist of the 2020 Olympics is finished performing at the 2024 Games ahead of schedule.
