Over the past day, two men in Paris have been charged with conspiracy to commit a terrorist act and possession of explosives, after which they were taken into custody. This was reported by the French anti-terrorist prosecutor's office PNAT. A third person has also been arrested, who is accused of failing to report a "terrorist crime".
All three detainees are over 18 years old. It is not reported how developed their alleged attack plan was. According to French media reports, the main suspect is a 19-year-old man living in northern France who has links to the jihadist group Islamic State (IS).

According to the newspaper Le Parisien, he wrote an oath of allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) group and was considering attacking a public place. His detention led to the arrest of two people close to him.
