SBU drones hit the Yaroslavl-3 oil station and a gas terminal in the port of Temryuk. Oil reservoirs and a gas pipeline on the pier caught fire at the facilities.

SBU strikes strategic oil depot in Yaroslavl and terminal in Temryuk

Specialists from the "A" Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine struck the "Yaroslavl-3" strategic oil pumping station with its own tank farm in the Yaroslavl region of the Russian Federation, as well as the gas terminal of the "Temryuk" port in the Krasnodar Krai. This was reported by UNN with reference to the SBU.

Details

The "Yaroslavl-3" oil pumping station is part of the main Baltic Pipeline System (BPS-1) and supplies raw materials to the nearby "Slavneft-YANOS" refinery, as well as to the export terminals of the Primorsk port.

Following the drone attack, three crude oil storage tanks caught fire. The fire area exceeded 5,000 square meters.

At the same time, as a result of the strikes on the gas terminal of the "Temryuk" port, a fire was recorded on the territory of "Maktren-Nafta" LLC. Specifically, the gas pipeline on the pier and buildings are ablaze. This facility handles the transshipment of liquefied gas from railcars and tank containers onto specialized gas carrier vessels,
