Two servicemen have been served with notices of suspicion for attempting to sell 500 kg of explosives and grenades for 88,000 dollars. Earlier, three other individuals were detained in this case.
Law enforcement officers have notified two more servicemen of suspicion in a case involving the illicit trafficking of ammunition and explosives. This concerns an attempt to sell grenades and plastic explosives for a total of 88,000 US dollars. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, according to UNN.
Details
According to the investigation, members of an organized group illegally seized weapons, ammunition, and explosives for subsequent sale.
The prosecutor's office notes that the accomplices acquired and stored 500 kg of explosives in the Kharkiv region, after which they handed them over for transportation to Kyiv and further sale.
Two more military personnel were notified of suspicion regarding the illegal handling of ammunition and explosives as part of an organized group.
In addition, one of the previously suspected servicemen is additionally charged with the unauthorized abandonment of a military unit under martial law.
Earlier in this criminal proceeding, three individuals had already been served with notices of suspicion.
