A Russian missile attack on Kyiv causes fires, damages buildings and injures 12 people, including a child.
Rescuers extinguished the fires that occurred as a result of a massive missile attack by Russian troops on Kyiv, the State Emergency Service reported and showed the consequences of the enemy strike, UNN writes.

On the morning of March 21, the enemy launched another missile attack on the capital. Explosions were heard in Podil, Shevchenkivskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts.
The State Emergency Service reported fires in Podilsky and Shevchenkivsky districts. According to the SES, the fires have been extinguished.
Meanwhile, the KCMA clarified the consequences of the Russian missile strike on Kyiv. According to preliminary data:
Podil district:
- debris falling on the territory of non-residential buildings;
- fire at a transformer substation, the fire was extinguished over an area of 200 square meters;
- The information about debris falling on the roof of a residential building with subsequent fire was not confirmed;
- fire on the roof of a non-residential two-story building, the fire was extinguished.
Shevchenkivskyi district:
- a multi-storey residential building was damaged, windows were smashed by the blast wave, an apartment caught fire; residents are being evacuated from the building;
- three cars caught fire;
- debris falling on the territory of residential buildings between the kindergarten and residential buildings, without negative consequences;
- The blast wave damaged the windows of an apartment building;
- fire in a private residential building.
Sviatoshynskyi district:
- the information about the damage to the preschool building was not confirmed;
- damage to a multi-storey residential building was recorded - debris fell on the 4th floor of a 9-storey building, the blast wave smashed windows;
- The car fire was extinguished.

A massive missile attack by Russian troops on Kyiv caused fires, damaged buildings, 12 people were injured, including a child.
According to official information from the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of March 21, the enemy launched a missile attack with two Iskander-M (KN-23)/Kh-47M2 Kinzhal ballistic/aeroballistic missiles and 29 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from 11 Tu-95MS strategic bombers.
As reported in the KCMA, as a result of successful combat operations, all enemy missiles were shot down over Kyiv and on the outskirts of the capital.
