At night and in the morning, the Russians shelled Sumy region 24 times, firing more than 140 explosions from artillery, mortars, MLRS, rockets and mines in various localities.

On the night of March 18 and this morning, the Russian military fired 24 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. The Russians fired at Sumy region with artillery, mortars and  MLRS, fired a rocket and mines. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Monday, according to UNN

Details 

Reportedly, Mykolayivka, Yunakivka, Krasnopil, Bilopil, Miropil, Velykopysarivka, Popivka, Seredyna-Buda, Esman and Sveska communities were subjected to hostile shelling. 

Velykopysarivska community: artillery shelling (28 explosions), shelling with MLRS (50 explosions) 

Bilopilska community: the enemy fired from mortars (15 explosions). 

Yunakivska community:  UAV dropped a "VOG" type munition (1 explosion), mortar (15 explosions) and artillery (3 explosions). 

Popovska community: a rocket attack on the territory of the community (1 explosion). 

Myropilska community: Russians attacked with artillery (6 explosions). 

Mykolaivka community: shelling from MLRS was recorded (5 explosions).

Krasnopilska community: Russians dropped 4 mines on the territory of the community and fired from artillery (3 explosions). 

Esman community: there was a shelling with small arms and mortars (6 explosions). 

Seredyna-Budska community: mortar shelling (6 explosions) was recorded. 

Sveska community: there was a mortar attack (3 explosions).

Earlier UNN reported that on March 17, the Russian military launched a missile attack on Konotop, Sumy region. As a result of the attack, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, but there were no casualties.
