"According to unofficial information from sources on the opposite side, the Russians set fire to a large number of car tires in the cooling tower," said the head of the Nikopol district military administration.
In his opinion, this could be a provocation or an attempt to create panic in the settlements on the right bank of the former reservoir.
"ZNPP is operating as normal as possible under the occupation. Please calm down," he added.
