Another case of campaigning for students to serve in the Russian military has been recorded at the Russian University of Transport (RUT). This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the NSDC of Ukraine, according to UNN.

Russia continues to turn higher education institutions into a recruitment tool for students to participate in the war against Ukraine. At the Russian University of Transport (RUT), another case of campaigning for students to serve in UAV units directly during an online class was recorded,

According to the CCD, the lecturer began the lecture by familiarizing students with the "service conditions." Also, during the class, students were informed of the need to register in the "Max" application and subscribe to designated channels.

Furthermore, RUT students were previously told about service in the drone forces and were encouraged to sign documents regarding "familiarization" with contract terms. This practice has already become widespread in Russia across many institutions of higher and secondary education.

Heads of institutions are given recruitment quotas for contract soldiers for the military. To fulfill these plans, administrative pressure is exerted on students, and they are lured into the military with educational benefits, intrusive propaganda, and manipulation. The Kremlin is increasingly integrating the education system into the state's military machine, viewing youth exclusively as a human resource for the war against Ukraine,
