Russian authorities reported a massive drone attack on Moscow and the region, allegedly shooting down 58 drones. According to Telegram channels, UAVs struck the Wildberries logistics complex in the Moscow region.

On the night of July 20, the Russian authorities reported a massive drone attack on Moscow and the Moscow region. This was reported by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Russian media, and Telegram channels, writes UNN.

According to the Russian side, a missile threat was declared in the Moscow region, as well as in the Yaroslavl, Tver, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Novgorod, Vologda, Belgorod, Kursk, Lipetsk, Kaluga, Voronezh, Tambov, and Tula regions. Residents of Moscow were also warned of possible internet disruptions.

Around 03:00, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported the alleged destruction of 27 drones that, according to him, were heading towards the capital of the Russian Federation. Later, he announced 11 more downed drones. In total, according to Russian authorities, 58 drones were allegedly shot down on approach to Moscow.

Sobyanin did not report on the consequences of the attack, only noting that emergency services are working at the sites where debris fell. At the same time, photos and videos of explosions in the Moscow region appeared on social media.

Due to the attack, Rosaviatsiya temporarily imposed restrictions on the operation of Moscow airports.

According to Russian Telegram channels, drones struck the Wildberries logistics complex in the village of Koledino, Moscow region — one of the company's largest distribution centers. There is no official confirmation of this information yet.
