Russia is trying to organize paid protests in Cyprus against aid to Ukraine - Center for Countering Disinformation
Kyiv • UNN
Russian structures are organizing artificial protests to discredit the President of Ukraine and the EU. European bodies have already been informed about these provocations.

Russia is trying to organize artificial protests in Cyprus aimed against EU policy, in particular the decision to allocate a 90 billion euro loan to Ukraine, as well as to discredit the President of Ukraine. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, writes UNN.
The Russian embassy in Cyprus, "Rossotrudnichestvo" structures, pro-Russian public associations, etc. are involved in organizing these actions. General coordination is carried out by the "Russian Cultural Center". Such organizations, under the guise of cultural projects, purposefully promote Russia's influence and propaganda outside the country.
The protests are planned until April 25 under anti-war slogans. The main demand should be "the immediate cessation of financing the war in Ukraine by the EU."
The CPD stated that EU structures have been informed about the artificial nature of the actions, as well as about the people behind their organization.
Cyprus systematically supports Ukraine and its territorial integrity, because for it the principle of territorial integrity is also extremely important. EU structures have been informed about the artificial nature of the actions, as well as about the people behind their organization.
