Two F-16 aircraft of the Romanian Air Force from the air policing combat service took off from the 86th Air Base in Fetești, and air defense systems were put on alert. No incursions into national airspace were detected.
The air raid alert, as stated, was lifted at 04:45.
"The Ministry of National Defense has informed and continues to inform allied structures in real time about the situations caused by the attacks, remaining in constant contact with them," the statement said.
