Romanian President Klaus Iohannis announced the creation of a direct communication line between the countries after the drone incident in the port of Constanța. Ukraine was also given a list of questions regarding the drone incidents.

After the drone incident in the port of Constanta, Romania and Ukraine established a direct communication line for prompt response to similar cases. This was stated by the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, reports Digi24, writes UNN.

According to the head of state, after the incident, contacts took place between the Romanian and Ukrainian sides at various levels. The main result was the creation of a direct communication mechanism, which should accelerate the exchange of information in the event of similar incidents.
There is progress compared to two or three weeks ago, because now there is a direct line of communication regarding this type of event, so it no longer goes through a series of decisions by several people
Ukraine was given a list of questions regarding the incident
The President of Romania explained that the situation concerned two separate aspects – air and maritime.
Regarding the aerial drones, we are in the process, we are making progress. This is the Ministry's preliminary assessment that the event occurred, we were not 100% sure. And regarding the naval drone, there is a preliminary report and there is a list of questions from all institutions, which was submitted to the Ukrainian side
Nicușor Dan also reported that after the incident in the port of Constanta, no new cases involving naval drones were recorded.
