Researchers can now obtain a deferment via Rezerv+

The Reserve+ application has expanded the list of citizens who can apply for a mobilization deferment entirely online – the service is now available for researchers at higher education institutions and scientific organizations. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense, according to UNN.

Details

The Ministry of Defense explains: to obtain a deferment online, you must have up-to-date data in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (EDEBO) regarding:

  • primary place of employment;
    • employment of at least 0.75 of a full-time equivalent;
      • the right to a deferment based on a position in the field of higher education;
        • employment in a position included in the list of scientific roles.

          It is also important that the institution where the person works is confirmed in EDEBO as one engaged in scientific activities and has passed state certification. Additionally, the deferment is available to employees of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, national sectoral academies of sciences, and their administrative staffs.

          The deferment in Reserve+ remains available for scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical staff of higher, professional pre-higher, and vocational education institutions, as well as scientists involved in the educational process.

          How to apply for a deferment in Reserve+ online

          The electronic service operates automatically. To submit a request, follow three simple steps:

          1. Log in to the Reserve+ mobile application.
            1. Find the required section: select the category "Higher and Vocational Education Employees, Scientists" and click the submit request button.
              1. Wait for notification: the system will independently conduct an automatic check of your data in state registers and send a notification with the result.

                If the information in EDEBO is up-to-date and meets the requirements, the deferment will be processed automatically.

                What to do if the system issues a rejection

                In case of an error or the inability to process a deferment online, there is no need to go to the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) immediately. First, contact your employer (HR department or institution administration) – most likely, your data in the EDEBO system is outdated and needs to be urgently verified or updated.
