Provided "support for a person with a disability" by entering into marriage: Lviv region exposes fraudster

In the Lviv region, a woman with a disability was detained who offered to marry men of military age for $10,000 and then illegally smuggled them across the border as escorts for a person with a disability.
In Lviv region, law enforcement officers detained a woman who organized illegal transfer services for men of military age. Using her disability group, the suspect offered to marry her "clients" for $10000, UNN reports, citing the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv region.

Later, the pseudo-groom was supposed to cross the border as an escort for a person with a disability.
The organizer of the illegal scheme was detained by law enforcement officers after she held a part of the cash tranche.
The police investigators served the suspect a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 3 of Art. 332 (Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of seven to nine years with disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years with confiscation of property.
