Mark Rutte called Norway one of Ukraine's strongest partners since the beginning of the Russian invasion. The NATO Secretary General thanked the country for strengthening the Alliance.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that Norway remains one of Ukraine's most committed allies since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. He said this during a joint appearance with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, UNN reports.

Rutte recalled his recent visit to Kyiv along with NATO ambassadors and the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council.
"Last week, I was in Kyiv with NATO ambassadors for a historic meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council. There, the allies sent a clear signal of support for Ukraine as Russia's senseless aggression continues. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Norway has consistently remained one of Ukraine's strongest partners,"
The Secretary General also noted Norway's role in strengthening the Alliance.
"From the High North to NATO's eastern flank, Norway makes the Alliance stronger. Thank you for your leadership, your support for Ukraine, and your unwavering commitment to our transatlantic alliance,"
