Netherlands to allocate €500 million to Ukraine for drones and air defense systems

The Dutch government has announced a new support package for Ukraine worth 500 million euros, which includes the purchase of drones, air defense systems, and other weaponry. This was reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

According to the announced plans, 250 million euros will be directed toward the purchase of drones from Dutch defense companies.
The Netherlands will invest another 250 million euros as part of the PURL initiative, which involves supplying Ukraine with American-made weaponry.
The new commitment increases the total Dutch contribution to the PURL program to 1 billion euros.
Armaments and Defense Innovations
As part of the aid, Ukraine is also receiving air defense equipment, missiles, ammunition for F-16 fighter jets, and other weapons.
In addition, the Netherlands and Ukraine signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation in the field of defense innovation, which involves the development of joint projects and technological interaction between the countries.
