The Verkhovna Rada supported the early termination of the powers of MP Alena Shkrum from Batkivshchyna. According to MP Honcharenko, she plans to head a new Ministry of Association of Ukrainians.

Aliona Shkrum was elected as a member of parliament on the list (No. 22 on the list) from the All-Ukrainian Union ‘Batkivshchyna’ party in the 2019 early parliamentary elections.
Since Shkrum was elected in a nationwide constituency, her seat is to be filled by the next candidate on the party's list. Bohdan Lukashuk, an entrepreneur from Khmelnytskyi and a member of the Khmelnytskyi City Council of the 8th convocation, is to replace Shkrum.
