A deputy from Groysman's Ukrainian Strategy party has transferred almost 400 hectares of state land to a private firm.

The director of one of the agricultural educational institutions in Vinnytsia region and a member of the district council from Groysman's Ukrainian Strategy transferred almost 400 hectares of state land to a private agricultural enterprise, although he had no right to sign such an agreement. The details are reported by the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office, UNN writes.

It is noted that in 2021, the administration of the Teplyk Vocational Agricultural Lyceum entered into an agreement with a local agricultural enterprise to provide a base for training in agricultural production, which is in permanent use by the institution for subsistence agriculture.

We are talking about 371 hectares of state-owned land worth more than UAH 1.3 billion, which the educational institution provided for agricultural production without having the right to dispose of it.

The Commercial Court of Vinnytsia Oblast, following a claim by the Haisyn District Prosecutor's Office, canceled the agreement and returned the land plots to the educational institution.

According to local media , the head of the lyceum is Serhiy Sokotnyuk, who is also a member of the Haysyn district council from the party of former Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.

Also, the Vinnytsia regional prosecutor's office reports that it has sent an indictment to the court against the mayor of Tulchyn, Valeriy Vesnyanyi.

The official is accused of abusing his official position and causing damage to the city budget of almost three million hryvnias.

According to law enforcement, in the fall of 2021, without an auction, approval from the executive committee and the land commission of the city council, Vesnianyi actually single-handedly granted 68 hectares of land for use to a local sugar factory.

According to regulatory calculations, Tulchyn's budget lost almost three million hryvnias due to non-payment of land use rent.

The court sent Vesnianyi to custody, but he was released on bail and continued to run the city.

Valeriy Vesnianyi has been the permanent mayor of Tulchyn since 2006. In 2020, he ran for this position from Groysman's Ukrainian Strategy.

Apparently, law enforcement agencies have begun to respond to numerous complaints from residents of Vinnytsia Oblast, Groysman's base, that his associates may be involved in corruption.

In particular, the case of embezzlement of budget funds allocated for the needs of educational institutions, in Hnivan is being investigated, and the case of the former deputy mayor of Vinnytsia, Serhiy Morgunov, who, by concluding fictitious contracts for the protection of a municipal enterprise, caused almost UAH 14 million in damage to the city budget, has been brought to court.
