Biden's spokesman Manuel Adorni said that Trump had invited the Argentine leader, noting that it was the first time such an invitation had been sent to a president from a South American country.
El Salvador's ambassador to the United States also said that an invitation had been sent to his country's president, Nayib Buchele, but he had not yet decided whether to accept it, hesitating because of security concerns.
