A meeting of Ukrainian and American teams has begun in Saudi Arabia to discuss the security of Ukraine's energy and infrastructure. Also, the expansion of the Black Sea agreement is being discussed.
A meeting between the Ukrainian and American teams has begun in Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, it is planned to discuss the security of energy and infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. This was announced by Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, UNN reports.
We started a meeting with the American team in Riyadh. We are fulfilling the task of the President of Ukraine to bring closer a decent peace for our state and guarantee security. On the table, in particular, are proposals for the security of energy and infrastructure facilities. Today we are working on a number of complex technical issues - our delegation includes energy experts, as well as military representatives of the naval and air components

A White House representative officially confirmed that negotiations between technical teams will take place on Monday in Saudi Arabia.
Earlier it was reported that meetings in Riyadh between representatives of the United States, Ukraine and Russia are designed to ensure that senior officials of these states further develop more specific wording of an agreement that would bring closer the end of hostilities in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Among the topics to be discussed are, in particular, the expansion of the Black Sea Agreement on the way to a complete ceasefire. Also, the American side intends to check "whether the Russians' intentions are serious and whether they are on the same wavelength" in their desire to achieve a ceasefire.
Yesterday, March 22, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the military cabinet in Kharkiv. We discussed the situation at the front, the situation in the main directions, and also - prepared for the meeting of the Ukrainian and American delegations, which will take place tomorrow in Saudi Arabia.
