On the morning of June 15, in Biała Podlaska, artist Semyon Skrepetsky was killed; he was known for criticizing Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and other Russian leaders. Initially, it was reported that the killer was a Belarusian citizen.

Employees of the Desnianskyi District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv notified a 34-year-old citizen of Georgia of suspicion of committing the intentional murder of two people.
