The Kherson Art Museum has identified a painting by Nadiia Andreeva stolen by the Russian occupiers. This is the 122nd identified work of art out of more than 10,000 illegally exported exhibits.

The Kherson Art Museum has identified another painting stolen by the Russian occupiers. It is a work by Nadiia Andreeva "With a Doll" from the series "My Daughter". This is the 122nd identified work of art stolen by the occupiers from the museum. This was written on the museum's Facebook page, UNN reports.

Details

Nadiia Andriieva created the color zinc print in 1981. The painting "With a Doll" was captured on a card shot by an occupation channel in August 2023 at the Central Museum of Tavrida. It helped to identify another stolen work,

Two more works by Andreeva from the series "My Daughter" were presented in the museum collection, and they may also be somewhere nearby on the shelves of the improvised storage facility built in the concert hall of the Crimean museum

In total, museum workers have already identified 122 works of art stolen by the Russian military from the Kherson Art Museum in 2022. The total number of illegally exported artworks exceeds 10 thousand.

It is also reported that 121 works of art are in the occupied Crimea, in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida.

There is one more work, the exact location of which is unknown, but there is confirmation from the occupiers that the masterpiece is in their hands, the museum workers said.
