Israel strikes southern suburb of Beirut: what is known
Kyiv • UNN
Israeli security forces attacked a militant who collaborated with Hamas and planned terrorist attacks. The ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah is becoming increasingly unstable.

Israel has launched a new strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut. This was reported by the Israeli security forces, according to UNN.
Details
According to official data from the Israeli army, the target of the attack was a militant who recently collaborated with Hamas and participated in planning terrorist acts against civilians in Israel.
Witnesses informed that Israeli planes were flying in the sky over Beirut, and the city was deafened by loud explosions.
Recall
The ceasefire, which was concluded between Israel and Hezbollah in November, suspended the year-long conflict and provided for the withdrawal of Israeli troops and Hezbollah militants from southern Lebanon, as well as the deployment of the Lebanese army. However, each side accuses the other of violating the terms of the agreement.
The ceasefire regime is becoming increasingly unstable. Israel postponed the withdrawal of its troops from Lebanon, scheduled for January, and in March stated that it had intercepted missiles fired from Lebanon. This led to the bombing of the southern regions of Beirut. Hezbollah denies any involvement in these attacks.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed that Israel will continue to strike Lebanon in order to eliminate any threats and ensure the implementation of the terms of the ceasefire with Hezbollah.
