Modi is scheduled to visit Poland and Ukraine from August 21-23 to promote dialogue and diplomacy amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict. 

It is noted that this will be the first visit of the Indian Prime Minister to Warsaw in more than four decades, despite the fact that Poland is India's largest trade and investment partner in Central and Eastern Europe.

From Warsaw, Modi is expected to travel to Kyiv for a half-day visit. Earlier, India's  Deputy National Security Advisor Pawan Kapoor visited Ukraine to discuss the planned visit of the Ukrainian Prime Minister.

As journalists have found out, during his visit to Warsaw, Modi is likely to focus on technological cooperation. First and foremost, he will talk about Polish capabilities and advanced technologies in the food industry.

The publication emphasizes that India and Poland have established a joint working group on the food industry. Polish food companies and entrepreneurs can take part in mega-food parks being created in India.
