More than 11 million men aged 25 to 59 are potentially subject to mobilization in Ukraine. About 565,000 have already been booked.
The data is still being updated, but currently there is information that about 565 thousand men have already been booked; about 1.5 million may have disabilities; some of the 11 million are serving; and some are abroad.
Dmytro Natalukha, a lawyer, human rights activist, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, told Hromadske Radio, reports UNN.
Details
Answering the question of how many people are currently liable for military service in Ukraine, Dmytro Natalukha said the following:
We have 11 million 106 thousand 523 men in Ukraine aged 25 to 59
At the same time, the official noted that the question of how many of the 11 million are liable for military service is still open, as "the systemic data update is taking place right before our eyes, right now, and there is no tool that would synchronize and bring these registers together.
According to Natalukha, no one knows the final figure.
Unfortunately, I can't say that you can see the numbers.
Regarding the statistics of booked seats, as well as those with disabilities.
The latest booking figures that we received say that we had a little less than 600 thousand booked, or rather 565 thousand. I will make a note that this figure is extremely dynamic, this indicator can jump very sharply.
Natalukha said that according to calculations, of these 11 million, "about 1.5 million may have disabilities.
The official emphasized that no one currently keeps full-fledged statistics.
That is, from here we will get a figure of about 10 million people liable for military service. Of this number, some are already serving, some are abroad.
AddendumAddendum
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development also said that it is worth hearing figures from enterprises that are recognized as critical
They have a quota of 50% of the total number of people liable for military service in the state. But this does not mean that everyone fills it 100%," said Dmytro Natalukha.
