On Unity Day, volunteers from the British NGO Unity of Ukraine and Great Britain organized a celebration for Ukrainian soldiers who are currently undergoing training at bases in England. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports .

After a year of cooperation, we have a reliable team of volunteers, where each and every one brings their own unique contribution. ... Our people miss Ukraine, so they are always ready to please our military, because they are a part of Ukraine.

Volunteers note that Unity Day has become a tradition in the UK. Both volunteers and the military are looking forward to this day.

The main task of the Ukraine UK Unity volunteer community is to give warmth of hearts, raise the spirit of our titans and create positive emotions by introducing new ideas and diversity into the concert program.

Volunteers from a Ukrainian restaurant prepare traditional borsch for the military and treat the guests with homemade bacon and onions. A team of volunteer hairdressers creates stylish hairstyles for the military. The event also traditionally includes a concert with Ukrainian songs.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed gratitude "for the sincere, effective and systematic and multifaceted support of the servicemen of Operation INTERFLEX by the community of volunteers of the British public organization "Unity of Ukraine and Great Britain" Ukraine UK Unity."
