In Strasbourg, the first stage of work on documents for the creation of a Special Tribunal regarding the crime of aggression against Ukraine has been completed. Draft documents are ready for political consideration.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha said that the first stage of work with documents for the creation of a Special Tribunal on the crime of aggression against Ukraine has been completed in Strasbourg. This is reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Today, at the final meeting in Strasbourg, the Core Group coalition completed the work at the expert level on key legal documents for the establishment of a Special Tribunal on the crime of aggression against Ukraine
He noted that after two years of dedicated work, the drafts of these documents are now ready for political consideration.
I am grateful to all countries and experts who have made such significant efforts. Accountability must be inevitable, including for the crime of aggression against Ukraine, in order to strengthen international criminal law
