Environmentalists report mass burning of garbage and burying of bio-waste in Taigan Park. This threatens water pollution for the entire southeast of Crimea.
In temporarily occupied Crimea, the "Taigan" lion park was declared an environmentally unfavorable object due to possible violations of environmental regulations, problems with waste disposal, and risks of reservoir contamination. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind", according to UNN.

As reported, a local ecologist stated that the zoo management systematically neglects waste management rules. According to him, something is regularly burned in significant volumes on the object's territory, and there are also problems with household waste storage and biological waste disposal.
Something is regularly burned in the "Taigan" lion park, and, judging by the smoke plume, in industrial volumes. This causes colossal damage to the environment.
It is also noted that hazardous substances can enter the Taigan reservoir with groundwater, from where water is supplied for the needs of the southeastern part of Crimea.
In addition, representatives of one of the Crimean animal protection groups claim that some organic waste is allegedly buried directly on the park's territory or near an artificial reservoir.
These burials poison groundwater and, of course, the Taigan reservoir. Like a biological bomb, these violations will sooner or later make themselves felt.
