In 2024, Ukraine spent $62,500 on lobbying services in the US - Opendatabot

In 2024, Ukraine spent $62.5 thousand of public funds to lobby its interests in the United States. This is six times less than in 2023, when $366.7 thousand was spent on these purposes.

In particular, according to Opendatabot, 6,882 lobbying companies have been registered in the United States, of which only 517 are currently active. They are the ones who influence American politicians, shaping the agenda in Washington.

62.5 thousand dollars were spent by Ukraine on lobbying services in the USA in 2024. This is 6 times less than in 2023 - 366.7 thousand dollars

Since 2022, Ukraine has spent over $5.4 million on lobbying services in the United States. This is 2.2 times less than the Russian Federation, which invested $11.8 million in American lobbying over the same period.

The reduction in lobbying costs has also been recorded in a number of other countries. In particular, Poland reduced funding for lobbyists in the US by five times - to $245.2 thousand in 2024. While Russia cut its government funding for lobbyists by 18 times, reducing spending to $461.2 thousand in 2024. 

However, even after such a reduction, Russia still spends 7.4 times more on lobbying in the US than Ukraine, and almost twice as much as Poland
