UNN sources reported that it is about former MP Ruslan Demchak, but the verdict has not yet entered into force.

The SAP indicates that the MP received compensation for using a hotel room in the "Kyiv" hotel from September 2017 to October 2018. He was also sentenced to additional penalties in the form of a fine of UAH 17,000 and deprivation of the right to hold positions in state authorities for a period of 1 year

A prerequisite for the conclusion of the agreement was the reimbursement by the accused of almost UAH 800,000 for the entire period of use of the hotel room at the expense of the state, of which more than UAH 225,000 was the damage in the criminal proceedings.

In addition, the accused undertook, before the verdict comes into force, to transfer a charitable donation of UAH 2 million to a special account of the United24 project for the purchase of armored ambulances by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
