The President of Ukraine commented on the phone conversation between Orban and Putin. Zelenskyy emphasized that talks about the war in Ukraine cannot take place without Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has responded to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's call to Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin, UNN reports.

"We all hope that Viktor Orban will not at least call Assad in Moscow to listen to his hour-long lectures," Zelensky wrote.

He emphasized that achieving genuine peace and security requires U.S. determination, European unity and a common commitment of all partners to uphold the goals and principles of the UN Charter.

"We shouldn't play on our own image at the expense of unity - we should care about common success. It is unity in Europe that always brings success. Talks about the war against Ukraine waged by Russia cannot take place without Ukraine," the President added.

Zelenskyy also expressed his gratitude to President Trump and many European leaders with whom Ukraine is working together to find the right and strong solutions for real peace.
