HACC extended the arrest of former minister Herman Halushchenko for two months. The bail amount was reduced from 200 million to 150 million hryvnias in the Midas case.

The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine has extended the detention period for Herman Halushchenko for another two months, but reduced the bail amount from 200 million hryvnias to 150 million hryvnias, UNN reports.

As the HACC press service informed a UNN journalist, the HACC investigative judge partially granted the NABU detective's motion and extended the detention period for Herman Halushchenko for another two months. At the same time, the judge decided to reduce the alternative bail amount from 200 million to 150 million hryvnias.

NABU detectives detained the former Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko while he was crossing the state border. The detention took place within the framework of the "Midas" case; primary investigative actions are ongoing.
