On March 29, the Cabinet of Ministers, as indicated, adopted the relevant decision.

The adopted government resolution reportedly aims to "provide certain categories of IDPs with additional guarantees to prevent their forced eviction from temporary housing during the period of martial law and within 6 months after its termination or lifting.

Thus, internally displaced persons belonging to vulnerable categories of citizens will not be subject to the statutory residence period restriction.

Such changes are aimed at strengthening the guarantees of legal and social protection of internally displaced persons, the government added.
