Georgia has opened its market to Ukrainian meat and animal feed

Ukraine has begun exporting beef, offal, and plant-based feed to Georgia. The next step is the approval of supplies for composite products containing poultry meat.

Export markets for meat products have been opened for Ukrainian producers in Georgia. This was reported by Serhiy Tkachuk, Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, according to UNN.

He stated that he discussed the further expansion of access for Ukrainian goods to the Georgian market with Giorgi Iakobashvili, Head of the National Food Agency of Georgia.
"This year alone, our joint efforts have yielded concrete results: export markets for beef meat, raw materials, and offal, as well as plant-based animal feed, have been opened for Ukrainian producers,"
According to him, another promising area currently in the final stages of approval is the opening of the market for composite products containing poultry meat and plant components.

In January 2026, Georgia exported 4.1 million liters of wine, which is 3.3% less compared to the same period in 2025.
