In Kyiv region, four drug traffickers were detained who sold cocaine, cannabis, mephedrone, psilocybin mushrooms, and MDMA pills via Telegram, earning about 300,000 hryvnias a month.
In Kyiv region, law enforcement officers exposed a group of drug traffickers who used Telegram to sell cocaine, cannabis, mephedrone, psilocybin mushrooms, and MDMA pills. The "businessmen" earned about UAH 300 thousand per month. The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported about the special operation to expose and detain , UNN reports.
The "goods" were transported and handed over to customers by two defendants who acted as couriers. The drug dealers earned over UAH 300 thousand per month. Law enforcement officers conducted 4 operational purchases.

According to the investigation, the drug business was organized by a 27-year-old Kyiv resident. She involved three other accomplices in her illegal "business" activities. They purchased, stored and subsequently sold cocaine via the Telegram messenger, mostly to customers from Kyiv and Kyiv region. Law enforcement officers noted that payments for drugs were made in cash.
During the searches, in addition to cocaine, the police also seized packages of cannabis, mephedrone, psilocybin mushrooms and MDMA pills. In addition, law enforcement officers seized more than half a million hryvnias in cash.
The seized substances were sent for forensic chemical examination.
All four detainees were served suspicion notices of committing serious crimes in the field of drug trafficking (Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Drug dealers face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
